Play Time
Play Time is a whimsical expansion of my core Jugaad series, reinterpreting functional street survival through a childhood lens. By overlaying delicate, glowing white continuous line illustrations onto raw photographs of market tarpaulins, the heavy, utilitarian canopies of Mumbai's bazaars transform into an expansive playground of fantasy architecture, soaring spires, and geometric dreamworlds. It celebrates the inherent human instinct to find beauty, wonder, and joy within systemic constraints, proving that even a cheap sheet of plastic can support the weight of an entire imagined empire.
